Step 2: After that, enter the model number of the Netgear router in the search bar of the Netgear Download Center. 

Step 3: Click on the desired firmware file and save the setup file to the accessible location. 

Step 4: In the next step, open any internet directory from your system whatever you are using. Thereafter, connect your device to the Netgear router using an Ethernet cable.

Step 5: Enter routerlogin.net web address into the address bar of the web browser. A login web page will display on the screen. 

Step 6: Now, you will see that the Netgear login web page prompts you to enter the default SSID or network key and the password for the Netgear router device. 

Step 7: “Admin” is the default SSID and “password” is the default paraphrase for the Netgear router

Note: Remember to not interrupt the update process in the middle of the process as it may leave the Netgear router unusable.

Step 14: Now, your reboot starts rebooting by itself.
